Wa laikum salam,

Here are the meanings of symbols in your dreams; they are taken from Dreams and Interpretations from Ibn Sireen [R.A.]:

Surah Yasin [36]: To recite it signifies religious orthodoxy. P. 117

Milk from an unknown source represents the FITRA conveyed by Islam and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [Pbuh].  To offer milk or to drink it is a sign of religious piet and progress in the spiritual domain. P.43

Seeing the Quran in a dream means that you are rightly-guided in Islam.

Water; Drinking pure, sweet water of an unknown amount without being on a journey, nor having done WUDU, nor being in an unknown place is a promise of a life which is pleasant and without problems. P. 30

To dream of rice means the earning of livelihood after difficulties.

To dream of the Kaba means to be rightly guided in matters of Islam.

I should think that dreaming of Ayatal Kursi means relying on Allah for refuge against evil.

So, in general, it seems to me that you are a very religious person but it is challenging for you to remain that way.  Seeing Shaytan, the frightening sea, people disunited etc. are all warning to you not to deviate from the path of Salvation that you are currently following.  If you remain steadfast your whole life, other parts of your dreams confirm that Allah will place you in Jannah!  InshaAllah you will have the resolve to do so.

May Allah Bless you!  Ameen.

i am a spanish and i have been in islam 4 years Hamdulilah so please make dua for me and my family that we live and die as muslims amin,

i have dreams all the time, but there are a few which i would really like to know the meaning:
1): i was building a house of bricks in Jannah, it was very bright and the bricks were gold and silver so i would put one gold one silver like that i had i big enough amount build but it looked like just a wall, but i was feeling i was building a house,
2):i dident see alot in this dream or maybe i dont remember but i had seen either a rat or a mouse or could have been both, but what does it mean if you see a rat or even a mouse, some told me that i would be pregnant soon????????
3):i see alot a small baby boy, sometimes i am pregnant but mostly i see him in my arms or someone else is arms, i just thought it was strange because it happened more than a few times, is it from myself because i suffer from infertility and find it difficult to get pregnant due to endometriosis, although i have an 8 year old son, or could it be that i had a miscariage a few years ago,i dont know do you dr?
i would like to thank you in advance for taking the time for the muslims who are seeking knoledge, Jazakumlah kahir

Wa laikum salam

Many congratulations on your reversion to Islam a few years ago.  May Allah Most High dispose of our affairs the right way and make us die as Muslims so we can benefit from the Everlasting Reward of Paradise as promised by Allah Almighty in thE Holy Quran.   Allahumma Ameen.

Thank you also for your very kind comments on my Islamic work; to see the full list of my Sites, log onto www.freewebs.com/umarazam

Here are the meanings of symbols in your dreams; they are taken from Dreams and Interpretations from Ibn Sireen [R.A.]:

To see oneself enter Paradise is good news: the dreamer can expect to be rewarded for his [her] good deeds. P.22

There is a Hadith that when the Believer does Dhikr of Allah, Angels build houses for him [her] in Paradise ; when he [she] stops doing Dhikr, they stop building.  So I think your dream is literal; InshaAllah, your palaces are being built because you do Dhikr regularly and you will get them!  Congratulations and keep up the Dhikr.

A mouse is a woman of malevolent perverse and corrupt nature, whether the mouse is male or female in the dream.  To hunt a mouse means to try to get rid of a perverse woman. P. 94

A baby boy represents the next year of your life, which will be unpleasant at times with minor problems.

Young boys symbolise minor cares. P. 134

To dream that one has had a son when ones wife is pregnant means that one will have a girl.  If one has a girl [in the dream], it will be a boy.  But this sort of interpretation is variable, according to the nature of the person who has the dream. P. 135

I hope these meanings will shed a little more light on your dreams, Umm.

May Allah Most High Bless you!  Ameen.

Wa laikum ,

Im rather ill at the moment, suffering from allergy problems, so Im not feeling too well.  Your dream is both positive and negative.  To see Eid in a dream is the sign of happiness to come, but to see yourself scared in the car means lifes going to be frightening at times.  If one of the boys died in the dream, it does not necessarily mean that he will die; death signifies the end of a phase.

I think the Holy Month of Ramadhan starts at the end of this month.  Are you prepared for it?

Assalamu Alaikum, Tina

Thank you for filling in the GET A DREAM INTERPRETED FORM.  According to the book DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS by ibn Sireen [R.A.], to see teeth falling out means that one of your relatives will fall ill or die.  I hpe that you dream turns out to be a false alarm.  A secular interpretation is the following:

Teeth

To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

To dream that your teeth is lose, signifies failures and bad news.

To dream that you are brushing your teeth, signifies that you will undergo a hard struggle in order to hold on to your fortune.

thank you ever so much for the dream interpretationss, i am very geatfull and it was a great help, i was wondering if i could ask you for further advice:

i have just had an operation few weeks ago and i was dignosed with endometriosis on my uterus,as well as polisistic ovarian syndrome (pcos) subhanallah, i have been in pain for years and severe pain for about 9 months, which makes it difficult for me to walk, syptmos of this desiese are usually, (painful menses), irregular menses, fertility, fatigue, painfull bowel movements, and pelvic pain, there are more but this are the most common and the ones i remember right now, i have i have most of this symptoms, i have a son, but from the live before islam, am newly married to someone who  love very deeply and would like to give him children by the will of Allah, but it is very difficult for me to concieve, but we are trying anyway because Allah gives,,,,,,,,,,so my questions are:

1:) is it haram to get a hysterectomy, (removing organs such as ovaries, uterus......) as it will stop this pain as well as other symptoms, i want to give it time because i do want to try to have a chld first  with meddical help, or maybe you know aof a islamic medicine i can tke to help me ge pregnant,.......

2:)my husband and i have an agreement as well as contract that if he marries again i ahve the right to leave, he actually gave this right up for himself he said walahi i will never marry while i am with you,,,,, but now with this problem i feel very bad because i have a child, but if he got married i would not be able to stay because am in love with him, he is actually my first love, and i have had a very hard life and cannot bear anymore pain, i am hopping that i will be able to get pregnant for him, but if i dont what do i do, can i also mension that he is the only man in my sons life, he is raising him as his own, and although my son know he is not his father he loks up to him as he was,

...........i hope i havent confused you very much, sorry for my spelling mistakes i am spanish and my english is not perfect,

Wa laikum salam,

From what I can gather, the colour pink, the white and green field and the young daughter all convey your friend's anticipated happiness.  But the fact that there was a separation in the dream perhaps conveys that the 2nd marriage is likely to end in the way of the first one i.e. with the husband -the man - leaving!  So I think your friend should look elsewhere!

It's a good thing that you dreamt that your daughter married the Prophet [Pbuh] - the meaning from this is that your daughter's character is generally excellent.  But I can understand the Prophet's [Pbuh] advice - hyperactivity is not a desirable trait in a child.  See UNDERSTANDING TAWEEZ on my Site www.freewebs.com/drumarazam & follow the instructions to give your daughter a 'Taweez for Every Need'.

Your first two dreams [Pakora, dal, cake, rice] suggest that there will be money coming in - a comfortable lifestyle for your family:

Rice

To see grains of rice in your dream, symbolizes success, prosperity, luck, fertility and warm friendships.

To dream that you are eating rice, denotes happiness and tranquility in the home.

To dream that you are cooking rice, signifies that new responsibilities will bring you much joy.

To see rice mixed with dirt in your dream, signifies illness and separation from friends.

The third dream about nice, light snow suggests certain minor, but manageable, difficulties in life.

This dream is suggesting enmity to you from someone in your cousin's household, or enmity of someone else towards both your cousins and yourself.

Re: Dream interpretation

To:

"Hanan

Wa laikum salam, Hanan

Thanks for asking me to interpret the dreams; the replies are given underneath each one:

Dream 1

I dreamt I was in a foreign country. I am not sure, but I think it was switzerland or Italy. In the dream I had gone there for vacation, but was considering living there for good. I also saw a few of my good friends there by chance, and was telling them that if they settled in that country, I will also settle there and we would all have allot of fun there.

I think this dream may be literal - you may find yourself in a new location or situation whiich will be socially pleasant for you [as long as you don't commit sin in the new place or situation].

Dream 2

I dreamt I was lying down next to my ex-fiance. He was trying to touch me, but I did not want him to, and I kept reading from the Quran out loud. I don't remember what sura I was reading, but I kept turning the pages of the quran and reading it fast.

Seeing the Holy Quran in a dream means being guided by Allah Most High.  Your ex-fiance is an evil character, but you yourself are God-fearing.

Dream 3

I dreamt my friend was very fat (in real life she is slim and tall).

Being fat represents prosperity for your friend - either money-wise or in some situation or phase in life.

Salam, Mir

Sorry to accuse you two of improper behaviour.  JazakAllah - may Allah Most High give both of you the opportunity to get married.  However, the interpretation remains the same - other people are going to end the opportunity for you two to lawfully get together.  I've highlighted in red the bits that foretell your split and who is responsible [ie her brother and his wife or wife's relatives].    I've already told you that cat with long claws means aggressive thief.  I hope this dream turns out to be wrong!

                                                         Dr Umar

it was like it was me and the boy i love and we are like really really deeply in love and we are just sitting somewhere really nice and green and beautiful and I dont know what we are doing but we are very busy doing something, I think we are reading something or i dont know but we were doing something with paper reading writing stuff. So then I dont know wut happens suddenly I find myself at the same place but totally changed the boy i love is not there anymore and im missing him so much and all the greenery has gone to gray and brown and drought, and there are some really scary animals like tiger and loins but all the dangerous animal are kinda dried like the lion is standing there the tiger and stuff but they cant' move they are all dried and there are dry leaves everywhere and a slope down and kinda scary dark environment so suddenly I see in front of me something like a cat a big really big black cat with loooooooong looong black long shiny nails and its looking at me laughing so i suddenly start running away i climb up  and the cat is running after me and I get through a door I pass that door but cant close it there is no lock then i pass another door i cant close it there is no lock again then i get to the third door and I can lock it and I feel all safe... then i saw random stuff like my elder brother and his wife and then i woke up for fajr but that dream again had this emotional effect on me

Thank you for your e-mail.  Sometimes, its better if a person talks the truth even if it hurts.  If you are committing fornication [doing the marital act before marriage], you are committing one of the major sins, so your dreams are hardly likely to be pleasant.

I BELIEVE The stuffed big cats symbolize enmity of someone towards you perhaps the relatives of the person you are illicitly involved with.  Cats with long claws symbolize aggressive thieves who are after whatever they can get from you money, property etc., again possibly from amongst the same people.

My advice repent to allah most high and get married lawfully.

May Allah give you success and wealth as indicated in the dreams!  Ameen.

Dreaming of Mecca can mean that you are/will be rightly guided in matters of our Islamic religion.  It can also mean:

Makkah

MAKKAH: Seeing oneself entering Makkah in a dream may refer to a state of security and peace. [Sharh as Sunnah, vol 12 p 221]

Based on: "Whoever enters Makkah will be secure" [Surah al Imran (3): 97]

Salam,

In my opinion, the gist off your dream is this: your dream seems to be telling you that you have had severe problems of an emotional kind in the past & they will be coming to an end soon, probably with the help of someone else or by your turning to Islam wholeheartedly [symbolised by the help of the old man].

I am aware that once people become more religious in Islam, they begin to dream more, or remember their dreams better.

White clothes in a dream represent good deeds and strong faith, so your relatives and their kids who were wearing these white clothes are pious characters and not responsible for the jadoo which has resulted in your cousin sister being handicapped & you having evil dreams of your cousins being in the custody of Jinns & you being in danger too.

                                           You have 2 options:

A] Get a Taweez made from a genuine Pir [there are plenty around in India & Pakistan and wear that around your neck for protection

B] Buy the PANJSURA SHAREEF and do the amals in that book.

Then I think you will be protected.

Yes, Najeeb, that's what I mean; you'll be happy with your present marriage & you won't need to marry again.  I've just received your 2nd dream & hope to answer that in good time too.

Jazakallah Khair for your pompt reply. May Allah reward you in this duniya and akhira.

As I mentioned earlier, I am happy with my wife and have no such plans for second marriage. Though there are some minor issues; but these are natural in any family and not lead to second marraige.

I just wanted to get more clarification on my dream, Do you mean that all my family problems will be solved and I will be happy with my existing marraige?

Please advise.

Many thanks.

You must have heard that dreams often have different meaning; it seems like your dream is one of these inverted-significance dreams.  Crying in a dream means laughing and vice-versa.  If your first marriage died, this means that the unhappiness will, InshaAllah go away i.e. die reinforced by the sorrow [which really means happiness]. So your first marriage will become like a second marriage! Your mother will have something to do with the restoration of your marital happiness.  So, dont worry let thing develop naturally! Feel free to ask me for advice whenever you need.

You Mums dream is obviously warning you of the dangers of her daughter [you] marrying this man; lets just look at one or two symbols:

Drunk he will seek to earn money at all cost without sharing it with anyone even his own wife!

Pig meat his earnings will be unlawful; probably earned by crime or something evil

Stick enmity to his in-laws

Good job you e-mailed me!  Steer clear of this man!  Theres no shortage in the world of would-be husbands!

Feel free to ask for advice anytime.

Well, my mum had the dream...
It was actually concerning a person who I like and considered for marriage.  I asked my mother whether he is good for me or not.  We both requested Allah to give my mum a dream about him... keeping in mind that my mum was not agreeing to him when I told her about this person...

In the dream my mum saw I was married to him but along with it she saw many horrible things ... she saw he was drunk and he had was telling my mum to eat pork, and so was his mother... my mum said she tried to call me in the dream but I wasn't there and nor did  come to help her... in the dream my mum was very scared and she was sickened at the sight of the pig meat... she also said that he had a long stick or something like a rod may be in his hand and was threatening to attack my older brother with it but then when my other older brother came he backed off and calmed down some what... mum said she mentioned in the dream she was happy my two brothers were back together again... at the moment, in the real world, they have fallen out with each other... she said my 'husband' was wearing black and had black hair... He himself in real world is having some problems with his mother also, though I am not sure whether this has been resolved or not, I don't think it has...

I had read your section about dreams and what our Prophet (SAW) said about bad dreams being the work of the Satan and good dreams are from Allah... also I think you mentioned that we as normal people can sometimes have mixed dreams because we have no control over what we see and how to make it clear...

My mother is very caring of me and very protective though I don't always agree with her view points and same with her of my view points.  But I only wish to know the truth and I know Allah has told my mum something important in this dream that both me and my mum need to know.  I just want the clear truth without the work of Satan involved.

Allah has guided me to ask you, Inshallah you can help me...

Dear Imaan,

It's great to hear from you again; how are you doing in life?  I've read your dream and found it immensely difficult to interpret, as it doesn't  fit the categories of dream symbols in Ibn Sireen's [R.A.] book.  As avery rough interpretation, though, I would say that the dream told you that you have sinned in the past [symbolised by prisoner], and then repented [symbolised by the call for human rights] and would be undergoing hardship in life for 3 years [represented by 3 sons] but you will endure this misery with dignity [great power, used in a goodway].  Since you had thisdream 2 years ago, that only leaves a further year of hardship for you!  Then, Insha'Allah, your life will become happy andsuccessful  And Allah knows best!

I'm sending you the Holy Quran and a special dua by separate mail, Imaan.  Please see my new Site www.dr-umar-azam.co.uk

Keep in touch!

Dear Dr Azam,

We met many years ago at a radio station in Manchester, where I was working on a local show where you were invited to discuss dreams.

I was wondering if you could help me, being an expert I would like to you to interpret a profound dream that I had a couple of years ago.

The dream took place in an area where I used to live as a child.  It was in the suburbs, down a street on a bright, sunny warm day, where my old school friend and I sat in an ice cream van drinking coffee. I decided to get some items and asked my friend to hold my coffee, and went to a small corner shop, which had a prison located just around it.  Prisoners hand cuffed, could purchase items with a guard watching over them. The shop itself was a brilliant white inside. I purchased my items, came back to the van, by that time my friend had finished drinking my coffee.  So, I went to get another coffee at the shop.  There I saw an African or Afro carribean man cuffed, in an orange suit, stood by the magazine stall, with a guard.  I walked over to the counter ready to purchase my items, when a poster, located on a wall, next to the exit door, caught my eye.  It was an advertisement for a film; a woman (a jewish actress) in a 19th century peasant attire was stood on a rock, protesting about rights, or something to that effect.  I thought 'yet another propaganda film', but to my surprise I saw  a list of critics that praised the film, especially a man called Abdullah, who stated 'the film was great',  to that affect anyway.   As I walked out I found myself transforming into this woman, I then looked up to the sky and a brown open book emerged from the light blue sky, it was written in Olde English, stating that 'God has ordained 3 sons to be born to me and that each one would have great power , power that would be used in a good way . Although I could see the text written in gold, I didn't read those words, I felt those words, as if God was speaking to me directly.

As an expert, how would you interpret this dream, as I am fully aware, some dreams can have opposite meanings.

Yours Sincerely,

Iman

Salam,

Youre right, Rehmana!  Its a negative reply Im going to give you.

I think the ring from France represents romance. Youve been happy with the attention Shazad has given you; hence you were showing the baby boy to people.   To see a ring means:

Ring

To see a ring on your finger in your dream, signifies your commitment to a relationship or a successful new endeavor. It also indicates your loyalty to your ideals, responsibilities, and beliefs.

To see a broken ring in your dream, signifies an attack on your loyalty. It is indicative of disappointments and separation.

To dream that you lose a ring or someone has stolen your ring, suggests that you will lose something or someone near and dear to you.

To dream that you receive a ring, denotes that your suspicions and worries over you lover will end. You will come to realize that he is true to his heart and will devote himself to your interest.

http://islamedia.ws/Dream_Dictionary_-R_-Meaning_of_Dreams

The door represents your father; lots of people represent the shame of your father in the community because of your actions [since you had this dream].  Shazad thought you two were married but you knew you werent; this implies that the right thing to do is to get married or give up thinking about him, talking about him etc. to prevent your dad losing honour in the community.

Rehmana, there's no such thing as a Dua for tall height because we should be happy with the way Allah has created us.  If a gorl is not tall, she might loathe herself, but her husband may find this a loveable trait.  So we humans cannot judge appearances effectively.  For this reason, changing bodily features using cosmetic surgery would be haram.

Wa laikum salam, Arshi

Climbing up a ladder to get to the clouds represents progress in matters of religion, as well as success of ambitions in life.  Your eldest brother-in-law is as ambitious and as kind-hearted as yourself, a benevolent, religious person.

Your grandfather has passed away; death in a dream represents the end of a phase in life.  Hence, you have stopped being a materialist i.e. thinking it important or enjoyable to buy beautiful things whilst out shopping.  The fact that you are now more holy is represented by the white domes of the shops representing matters spiritual [mosques] rather than goods [commerce].

Your being in Africa fits in with wanting to do charity work in the future by helping the needy; after all, many of the poorest people on Earth are in Africa.  Children need the most help and you have dreamt of African children having fun [riding elephants], presumably after being helped.  I think this means that you will be successful in your mission.

Finally, if youre only 35 years old, youre still young!  InshaAllah, youll live to be seventy or more, so youre only half-way there.  And it does not take long to accomplish much individually  if you have the resources certainly not 35 years!

It is laudable that you have these noble intentions; may Allah Most High smooth your path for you!

Thank you so much for responding to my e-mail so quickly.  I really did not think that you would respond.  I have always since I can remember dreamed of getting rich, and helping others.  It deos not matter to me wheather they are muslim or non.  I am really not sure if this is classified as a dream or having my head in the clouds.

My dream usually consists of either the lottery or getting a windfall.  I dream of making homes for the poor.  I want to send people who cannot afford to go to Hajj.  I want to make homes for my family.  I am 35 years old you would thing by this age I would learn that these dream may never come true.  This is very hard to accept for me.

The next three paragraphs are my sleep induced dreams.

A year ago I had a dream where my home was in the clouds.  The only way up to it was by a ladder.  I was climbing it but could not get into my own home.  My eldest brother in-law finally helped me get into my own home.  It is wierd that I had a dream with him when he is

Pakistan

In one dream I was out shopping (my favorite past time), the shops were white domes, and everthing was white.  My grandfather that I saw back in 1986 was also there.  My Grandfather had past away in 93.  Anyway I am shopping, and there are beautiful things but I don't see anything I like.

This is the last and maybe the wierdest to my way of thinking, I am in a place like a Africa.  I see baby elephants and children who are all dirty and maybe even nude.  I feel as if I am there.  I see kids riding on the elephant.

These dreams make no sense to me.  The ones that I am awake for make even less sense to me.  I really appreciate the time you have taken to read this e-mail.  If you cannot make sense of it don't worry about it.  The fact that you took some time out to respone is very appreciated.  Please don't put this on your website, I really feel like a fool for writing to you and bothering you with this.

Dreams of Shazad

Wa laikum salam,

Yeah, Hi Rehmana Im feeling so-so; life goes on.  Im not feeling 100%.

The car in your dream represents life you met Shazad briefly in life.  The haircut suggests that actually it was not his fault that you two did not marry rather it was your own father who disapproved.

Hair Cut
As Samson and the Merovingians will attest, dreams of cutting hair can be another symbol of a loss of power. For men, it can even symbolize feelings of castration. Whereas dreams of hair falling out points to an insidious energy drain, dreams of having one's hair cut symbolize a much more aggressive type of power loss. In waking life, prisoners heads are often shaved to take away some of their identity.

Dreams of getting your hair cut, however, do not always mean a loss of power. Look at the dream and see who is cutting your hair. Is it a barber or hair dresser? If so, this may actually point to something which needs to be discarded, or a feeling of needing to rid yourself of something. However, if the haircut is performed by someone other than a professional, look at who that person is. You may feel as if that person is taking away something important from you.

http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art10574.asp

Even though Shazad might still have feelings for you, it is better for your emotional health if you move on in life; after all, if you cant have someone, why worry?  That is not a favourable trait for the one ho eventually marries you.  After all, who wants an emotionally-second-hand wife?  Im giving you this blunt advice to help you.  Keep in touch!

Assalamu Alaikum,

I am beginning to feel that a few of you really are helplessly deluded and genuinely do not understand the nature of my work on religious dreams.

I am making the point in my book DREAMS IN ISLAM that, if a person is righteous, then he or she can benefit from religious dreams which contain messages and guidance from Allah Most High.

And my research papers such as DREAMS OF REWARD IN PARADISE , DREAMS OF KNOWLEDGE AND SCHOLARSHIP and TRUE DREAMS all give examples of actual dreams, which I have myself experienced, to emphasise the point of religious dreams being messages from God.

Do you not think that this in-depth research is valuable because it is original?  Not much Islamic research on dreams has been done in the past; it is a rare field of study.

Wa Laikum Salam , Br. Kami

Ive found some interpretations for the symbols in your dream; it seems that youll be getting wealth in the future but will hide it from your uncle !

Fish

In Islam if you dream of fish this means you'll get wealth.

http://ph.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080303223741AA6c2zX

Rice

Rice is good to see in dreams, as it foretells success and warm friendships. Prosperity to all trades is promised, and the farmer will be blessed with a bounteous harvest.

To eat it, signifies happiness and domestic comfort.

To see it mixed with dirt or otherwise impure, denotes sickness and separation from friends.

For a young woman to dream of cooking it, shows she will soon assume new duties, which will make her happier, and she will enjoy wealth.

http://www.experiencefestival.com/dream_dictionary_rice

Flowers

Dream I was eating flowers?

Last night, I dreamt I was sitting on grass, eating white daisies with a blue dress on myself. Say what?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

This is a very lovely dream...when you eat something, you are offering spiritual and emotional nourishment to yourself, a phrase that I connect to eating in dreams is "food for thought" as a dream pun. Daisies represent things like purity and innocence, they are also linked to the sun, they are symbolic of enlightenment, and illumination.

I have a dream that I and my younger brother were eating rice and fish. I was catching the fishes from water the fishes were very beautiful. My brother was cooking these fishes in the rice. I taste the rice and take a piece of fish. The fish was not cooked properly so I did not eat more. Suddenly my uncle came and we hide the dish.

I saw the dream again that we are eating the rice. There were some small yellow flowers with me. I was mixing the flowers with rice and eating the rice.

You need to be careful here, Abdul Hakim.  Satanic dreams can be a suggestion of your own mind in the quest for power & recognition.  Let not the Satan lead you astray!  [If I had a dream that I am a prophet, I'd seek Allah's forgiveness, for this would obviously not be true].

Salam, Rehmana

I think the first part of the dream is concerned with protection from

nazar [the evil eye], perhaps because of a forthcoming marriage etc. This fits in with the next bit about seeing lots of gold jewellery.

Gold

GOLD: Being given gold or finding gold may indicate finding a suitable wife or a successful marriage. The symbolism is derived when the Prophet restricted ornaments of gold to women.

Based on: Abdullab ibn Zurrayr related that he heard Ali ibn Abi Talib say that the Prophet took some silk in his right hand and some gold in his left hand. Then he said, "These two are forbidden to the males of my nation" [Sunan of Abu Dawood, vol 3 p 1133 no 4046; an Nasaee and Ahmad]

Id advise you to read ALLAHUMMA BARAK LI FIL MAUTI WA FEE MAA BADAL MAUT 21 times before you go to sleep.  That will keep Jinn etc. away, InshaAllah.

Death in a dream represents the end of a phase.  So, your dealing with your father is going to/has change[d].  Also, you could lose your job or someone you work with may leave.

My personal feeling of your dream are that perhaps your aunt is in some kind of trouble in the Life in the Grave because of bad deeds during her lifetime.  I reckon you should visit her grave after Jummah on Friday and read the Surah Yasin, so that her punishment can be lightened or, eliminated, InshaAllah.

I have a dream. I saw that one of my aunts has died (she has already died in 2003). His funereal is ready and I am not in ablution to offer her funereal prayer (janaza). Suddenly I saw a water tab with a wall. I went to that tab but before me a boy came for using tab he opened the tab and start using it. He saw me and left the washing incomplete and goes to a washroom and start washing.

I completed the ablution from that water tab and went to the place where funereal was in progress. One of my cousins (her son) has to recite the Holy Quran but he forgets some verses and the funereal was postponed. The funereal was postponed till the completion of recitation.

I saw smoke and for cooking of food. I asked my cousin (her daughter) who is incurring the expenses for meal for guests who are there for funereal. She replied my uncle (he can be my father).

Please tell me the interpretation.

A DOG IN A DREAM REPRESENTS AN ENEMY.  SO IT SEEMS AS IF 2 PEOPLE WHO VISIT YOUR MUM HAVE AN ENMITY TOWARDS YOU.

A CAT IN A DREAM REPRESENTS A THIEF.  IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE IS AFTER YOUR MONEY, PROPERTY ETC. BUT IT DOESNT SEEM AS IF THEY ARE CLOSE AS YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS DONT SEEM TOO BOTHERED IN THE DREAM.

THESE ENEMIES AND WOULD-BE THIEVES COULD BE YOUR RELATIVES OR FAMILY FRIENDS BUT I DONT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES TO BE ABLE TO SAY MORE.  BOTH THE ABOVE INTERPRETATIONS ARE FROM IBN SIREENS [R.A.] DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS.

My family members see me trying to run away from it and I ask them for help but they just laugh at me, watching me running into different room's closing doors trying to escape but the cat some how still manages to come into the rooms?

I have had a similar dream to this dream last year. In my mums garden there are black cats and Im in doors. The cats see me and they try  to jump at me trying to attack me but they cant as they are outside and I am inside the house?

SORRY FOR THE DELAY - I'VE BEEN SEVERELY ILL WITH AN ALLERGY.  IN MY OPINION, I THINK YOU CAN TAKE THIS DREAM'S MEANING LITERALLY: IT IS TELLING YOU THAT THE INTENTION OF NEWLY-CONVERTED MUSLIMS IS OFTEN BETTER THAN THOSE OF US WHO ARE BORN AS MUSLIMS BUT THESE REVERTS MAY NOT HAVE THE ADEQUATE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE TO EFFECTIVELY TAKE UP THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP!  THE FACT THAT YOU WERE WILLING TO TAKE SUCH RESPONSIBILITY IN THE DREAM IS COMMENDABLE - BUT EVEN YOU FELT UNCOMFORTABLE: EITHER BECAUSE YOU DID NOT FEEL CAPABLE ENOUGH OR BECAUSE OTHER USLIMS WERE NOT PREPARED TO ACCEPT YOUR AUTHORITY!

According to the book Dreams and Interpretations by IBN SIREEN [R.A.] {see the Dreams and Interpretations section on my Site www.dr-umar-azam.co.uk to find out how to buy this book for youself}, the message of a person who has passed away can never be false.  So you should indeed tell your mother that your father loves her dearly.  Also, you will be getting married next year!   Many congratulations from me!

When you visit your fathers grave on Fridays, his RUH does indeed come down to see who is praying for him.  My own father has passed away.  My youngest sister went to visit his grave to pray for him, taking her young son with her.  This son exclaimed, Hi, Abba! at the graveside.  So obviously he could see the RUH of his grandfather!  We shouldnt be scared as we are Muslims and, of course, Allah Most High permits the RUHS to visit Earth as and when necessary; in any case, every sunrise and every sunset, each RUH sees his or her place in either Paradise or Hell from the window in the grave [Hadith].

I was just wondering what these dreams mean, because they seem to be very powerful, and im just also wondering why me, why am i having these dreams? like how come not his mother or someone closer to him. WA LAIKUM SALAM,

I think that your dream was indicating some kind of inner awakening, Sajda.  Death in a dream signifies the end of a phase.  If you saw yourself lying in your grave, then this is a message that your previous condition [i.e. not being religious] has changed and that, from the time of this dream, you have become more God-fearing.  So, well done!  Here are two interpretations of two components of your dream:

JANNAT

IF A PERSON SEES HIMSELF ENTERING JANNAT, IT IS A GLAD TIDING THAT HE WILL SURELY ENTER JANNAT AND THAT HIS GOOD DEEDS ARE CERTAINLY ACCEPTED BY ALLAH MOST HIGH [DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS BY IBN SIREEN R.A. P. 24]

STREAMS OF JANNAT

[Assuming that the silver strands flowing in your dream were these]

DRINKING FROM THE STREAMS AND SPRINGS OF JANNAT MEANS THE OBSERVER WILL HAVE ALL HIS LEGITIMATE DESIRES FULFILLED WITH DIGNITY IN BOTH THE WORLD [DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS BY IBN SIREEN R.A. P. 25]

I hope this sheds a little more light on your dream.

Ive not even heard of the work Tafseer Al-Ahlam, let alone know of an English translation!  However, I note from the details on your comment that you reside in Lahore.  In that case, you are v. lucky!  Anarkali and Urdu Bazar are the main areas of booksellers, as you are no doubt aware.  So you should have no difficulty getting hold of Dreams and Interpretations by Ibn Sireen [R.A.], if you havent already got it.  This book contains lists of dream symbols what it means, for instance to see white colthes [goodness of religion], a cat [a thief] or smelling a flower [good news about a baby being born].  I think this is the book that you will find most useful.

A man says this have to happen when adhan is not given
on time and sun is nearly out. The water comes out and
starts flooding. Every one runs and the vision and the
feeling was just as if it was day of doom 'Qiyamat'.

I too was running along another man and we were
running fast with really long strides. Where we are
running is rocky and desert like. We see a hut and the
man stops to see who is there and I ask him not to but
he went to that hut and someone kills the man to eat
him.

On this I run faster and faster and come to point
where it is end of the land. I I go down in laying

see KABBA on my right hand side and Dome of the Rock
on my left hand side.

On this I wake up.

WS  A WHIRLWIND REPRESENTS CRUELTY; A CAT REPRESENTS A THIEF.  THE MIRROR IN YOUR DREAM REPRESENTS YOUR TWO SIDES - GOOD & EVIL.  AT TIMES, YOU ARE REALLY TEMPTED TO DO EVIL.  BUT YOU WANT TO DO GOOD AND YOU DO WANT ALLAH MOST HIGH TO GUIDE YOU.  THE CAT BITING YOU MEANS THAT THEIVES WILL TRY TO BE SUCCESSFUL; ARE YOU SURE THAT THE FAMILY WHO WANT YOU AS THEIR DAUGHTER-IN-LAW ARE HARMLESS OR HAVE THEY ULTERIOR MOTIVES?   DR UMAR

BR. KAMRAN

SOMEONE [IN A HOME BURGLARY] HAS STOLEN MY COPY OF THE BOOK DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS BY IBN SIREEN [R.A.]   GIVE ME SOME TIME TO BUY A NEW COPY & THEN TO INTERPRET YOUR DREAM FROM IT, OR IF YOU COULD BUY A COPY YOURSELF [NOT EXPENSIVE] FROM A MAJOR ISLAMIC BOOKSELLER, YOU COULD LOOK UP THE INTERPRETATION OF THIS & OTHER DREAMS YOURSELF.

SALAM, REMZ

I THINK THE DREAM IS SAYING THAT THERE WILL BE BIG TROUBLE IN THE FAMILY IF YOU MARRY THE GUY WHOSE FAMILY WANT YOU AS THEIR DAUGHTER IN LAW.  THEY WILL BE V. CRUEL TO YOU LATER [SYMBOLISED BY THE TORNADO] AND YOUR MOTHER WILL BE UPSET & INCENSED [SYMBOLISED BY HER ANGRY SIDE COMING TO HARM YOU].  PEOPLE ARE NOT ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM.

WA LAIKUM SALAM, KAMI,

I think this dream is telling you that you wish to go on the correct path, but you have enemies, or corrupted friends [symbolised by the bathing boys] who interfere with this resolve of yours.   But you are on your way to being successful and, Insha'Allah, you will be successful [success is symbolised by the Holy Ka'ba]. The depth of water signifies you overall control of the situation - I think you will have status, and power, as a result of being pious, in the future [power is symbolised by the sea].  Dr Umar

I want to know the interpretation of my dream.

I sleep after the Fajar prayer and recitation of Holy Quran. I saw this dream.

I am going to ka'aba with my friend he was guiding me in all the journey. First we stopped in a mosque (I don't remember it was a mosque or something else but it was looking like a mosque) ahead of ka'aba. There was a big sea outside this mosque and the water was coming from the mosque and falling in to the sea and there were some naughty boys swimming and bathing in this sea. I asked my friend about the depth of sea where the boys are swimming he told that it is 6 miles deep. I afraid about the depth. My friend asked me please beware of these boys they can push you in the sea.  There was a very narrow passage between the mosque and sea on which we have to walk for ka'aba. When I start walking on this passage a boy came by running and try to push me in the sea. I suddenly turn myself on the mosque side and cross this boy safely. while in the way to ka'aba my friend told me beware about your pockets and money. I have a mobile set in side pocket i put it in my from pocket and start walking. When we reached the ka'aba mosque(it was a under construction mosque with bricks and not really the ka'aba) it was full of people. My friend ask me to stand here i will search for some space. At this moment i wake up.

Please tell me the interpretation.

Regards
Kami
